To start the night, a glass of champagne in hand and stunning natural oysters, served with mignonette dressing & fresh lemon.
Once everyone has been greeted your guests can make themselves comfortable and ready themselves for the next course. Smoked salmon & creme fraiche, soft hen’s egg & crisp rye bread.
The banquet continues with warming French onion soup & all the traditional accompaniments.
Arriving at the main event, a choice of beef Bourguignon with green beans OR confit duck leg ‘a la orange’ with sautéed winter greens.
Roast baby carrots with fresh thyme and luscious pomme purée are placed on the table to share with the main feast.
A little fromage to finish off the savouries, ‘Jean Perrin Fromager des Clarines’, this silky, mixed rind cheese is perfect for sharing. Served with poached quince, cornichons & fresh baguette.
The ‘pièce de resistance’, a delicate & deliciously moist almond cake studded with poached pears, flavoured with warm spices and a little creme Chantilly on the side, voilà!
